ARC Review: Into the Churn (Into the Churn #1) by Hayley Reese Chow – YA SciFi
I absolutely loved this book! Everything I could have wanted, it was such a fun read. Absolutely deserves all the stars – highly recommend!
Somewhere in the Deep by Tanvi Berwah
If you are looking for something that is light and predictably entertaining, this is a good choice. I enjoyed the story and do recommend it to lovers of this genre if you’re looking for an easy read that is fun and satisfying, even if not necessarily mind-blowingly memorable.
A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid
This is a book to get lost in. I highly recommend this book to all fantasy readers, and even non-fantasy readers alike. It’s a definite five star from me and I’m already anticipating what Reid has in store for us next!
This book is fantasy perfection: Champion of Fate (Heromaker #1) by Kendare Blake
This book is fantasy perfection. The kind of story everyone hopes they write. Kendare Blake is proving to be a master of writing with this one. I cannot recommend it highly enough. You absolutely have to read this book!
Bonesmith (House of the Dead #1) by Nicki Pau Preto
This is necromancy magic on another level. This whole story is grim and dark and I loved every minute of it. The magic system in this book was so freaking good.
What a fantastic adventure! The Isles of the Gods by Amie Kaufman
Wow what a fantastic adventure! Amie Kaufman is one of my favorite authors of all time! When I saw she was writing a new fantasy series, I never requested a book so fast in my life. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to read an early copy.
Obsessed with this book! I devoured it – Star Splitter by Matthew J. Kirby
Wow, wow, wow – I absolutely devoured this book! It was so freaking good! I just can’t say enough good things about this book. If you like science fiction, you absolutely have to read it!!
An Absolute Must-Read: Silver in the Bone by Alexandra Bracken
There’s sweet found family connections, adorable enemies-to-more tension, tragedy and betrayals, thrilling battle scenes, worlds in peril, prophecies and tales of destiny, legends come to life, magical beings and menacing creatures, just literally everything could ever hope for in a fantasy.
It’s a fumbling, messy, mayhem of idiots and I kind of liked it anyways. (Review of The Island by Natasha Preston)
Reading this is like watching a bunch of bumbling idiots running around like headless chickens. Why were the adults in this story the most dumb, useless, incompetent, clueless, idiots ever? No idea. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop, that it would come out as a ‘hahaha it’s all a joke’, but it wasn’t. It actually wasn’t a joke. However, if you like a non-stop action, fast-paced, close-quarters, who-dunnit, mayhem of a thriller, you may also find it as fun and engaging as I somehow did.
Time’s Orphan (Odriel’s Heirs #3) by Hayley Reese Chow
This was a fun, fast read. I enjoyed this escapist adventure and it was just such a great experience. Highly recommend this book to all fantasy readers!
Hauntingly Beautiful with a Powerful Message: Wildblood by Lauren Blackwood
It is a hauntingly beautiful story world. I love the characters. And it touches on some really great themes. I highly recommend this book! I truly enjoyed reading it and the author is one I will definitely be watching for their next book.
